Ashleigh manages a strategic project in the Faculty of Engineering to encourage more women into STEM, and inspire them to consider Engineering as a career path.
Her previous work experience in analytical laboratories includes eight years working at ESR as a Forensic Technician, and then supporting the teaching and research in the Anthropology laboratories and helping coordinate departmental outreach activities. She has been working with schools, teachers and students for over 15 years, and has extensive experience in Science Communication and schools outreach.
Qualifications:
BSc Biological Sciences (Waikato), MSc Forensic Science (Auckland)
