I am the Technical Services Manager at the Liggins Institute. My team and I enjoy helping people answer their research questions using high quality analytical techniques. I started as a lab technician last century which enables me to bring to the table a wealth of experience across the wide variety of equipment and experimental methods available in the Liggins Institute Research Lab.

My particular passion is for mass spectrometry and it has been a privilege to train many PhD students in this field over the past 15 years, helping them to develop methods for their studies and provide them with an extremely useful skillset. I am active in the mass spectrometry ‘space’ across the University advocating for this technique and supporting academic and professional staff. My ‘door’ is always open and I will reply to your email queries, so if you have an analysis conundrum, particularly in the human health sphere, then drop me a line.
