BIO

I am a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Science and Biomedical Engineering, specialising in cutting-edge 3D-printed composite structures. My PhD research at the University of Auckland focused on 3D-printed polymeric functionally graded composites with aerospace applications, earning me the prestigious Amelia Earhart Fellowship (USA) in 2016.

In 2019, I was awarded the Rutherford Postdoctoral Fellowship by the Royal Society Te Apārangi, enabling me to pioneer research on bio-based 3D-printed porous structures for next-generation wearable human interfaces, such as prosthetics.

My expertise lies in advanced computational modeling and machine learning algorithms for 3D-printed composite structures, pushing the boundaries of innovation in biomedical devices and beyond.
