I am a PhD candidate in Communication at the University of Auckland, Faculty of Arts and Education. My research examines how Māori cultural principles are communicated and experienced by international students in a New Zealand university, with particular attention to their sense of belonging. Before beginning my PhD, I worked in international student recruitment, admissions, and student advising. My broader interests include intercultural communication, international education, and student development.
