BIO
Kia ora koutou. Kwazuwai. Linjani. Jambo. As-salamu alaykum. Greetings.
I recognise and acknowledge tangata whenua and mana whenua of the land of Aotearoa, on which I am nourished and nurtured. I pay my respects to all our Elders, past, present, and those who are emerging.
I am a Public Health Specialist and an emerging researcher seeking opportunities to collaborate and contribute to relevant research for ethnic migrant communities in Aotearoa. I am keenly interested in applying Indigenous philosophies and theories to health research, policy and practice, creating pathways for innovative solutions for health, interrogating the structural determinants, and eradicating health inequities.
As tangata Tiriti, I value my place as an ally and a collaborator, seeking opportunities to contribute to the fight against social injustice and ending inequities against tangata whenua and minoritised populations.
