BIO
Reuben advises the Auckland Bioengineering Institute on a range of marketing and communications matters. His role involves managing public events, graphic design, video production, internal and external newsletters, as well as managing the ABI website and social media channels. He has been with the ABI since 2019.
Reuben started his career as a journalist, before shifting focus to design and communications, working for one of New Zealand's premier PR firms, Sweeney Vesty. In 2008 he traveled to the UAE where he worked as a designer and editor. Then in 2010 he moved to Sweden where he worked as a marketing manager for NorthStar Battery, an international battery manufacturer.
Reuben is also a musician in his spare time. You can find music from his bands Dead Silent Film Stars and Motel Midnight on most streaming channels.
