I am Geethika. I am a confirmed PhD student in the Department of Property at the University of Auckland.

Under the guidance of Professor Deborah Levy and Associate Professor Abdul Rasheed Amidu, Geethika continues her research in the field of Professional Valuation Service. Geethika is trying to understand different perceptions on the quality of professional valuation services in the special context of developing markets.

With a professional background in valuation services and over a decade of experience serving the government of Sri Lanka, Geethika is working towards enhancing quality, especially in emerging markets, where quality should be a primary concern in service enhancements.

Geethika is a B.Sc. honours degree holder. Estate Management and Valuation with a first class (Batch top) for their bachelor's degree. Merits are awarded in the areas of Urban and regional planning and Construction Management as well. 

Geethika is a student member of the Property Institute of New Zealand (PINZ).

Also, registered property valuer with the membership of the Professional Associate of the Institute of Valuers of 
Sri Lanka. (Associate Member since 2015 and Professional Associate Member since 2019).
