RESEARCH INTERESTS

As a materials engineer, I possess broad technical expertise in materials selection, design, and application across a wide range of industries, including chemical processing, electronics, environmental engineering, and energy technologies. My work integrates fundamental materials science with advanced engineering practice, covering areas such as metal processing, corrosion control, protective coatings, nanostructured and functional materials, and high-temperature materials performance. I am an expert in materials failure analysis, with extensive experience in diagnosing degradation mechanisms and developing strategies for materials protection, durability enhancement, and performance optimization. My technical background also includes surface engineering, thin-film technologies, and computational modelling for predicting materials behaviour under complex environmental and service conditions. Through both research and industrial collaboration, I have developed a strong capability in linking materials innovation with practical engineering solutions that support sustainable and high-performance technologies.
