I completed both my undergraduate and master’s degrees at AUT, where I built a strong academic foundation in biomedical science and cancer research. During my undergraduate studies, under the guidance of Professor Dongxu Liu, I entered the field of breast cancer research, focusing on gene-level investigations. I later joined Professor Yan Li’s research team, where I further expanded my expertise in breast cancer genetics and therapeutic strategies, achieving first-class academic results.

Currently, I am pursuing research in the Department of Food Science at the University of Auckland under the supervision of Professor Jun Lu and Professor Siew Yong Quek. My current work focuses on exploring the mechanisms and potential applications of seaweed-derived compounds in breast cancer chemotherapy, combining food science with cancer therapeutics to investigate innovative approaches for improving treatment outcomes.
