My previous research focuses on the heat and moisture coupling migration of soil around energy piles.
It mainly involves: (1) Investigating influencing factors and prediction model of soil thermal conductivity, which allows me to have experimental skills in the measurement of thermal properties of soils and theoretical knowledge of heat and mass transfer in soil; (2) Carrying out indoor scale energy pile experiment; (3) Real-time monitoring of temperature, moisture content and thermal conductivity of soil during energy pile operation; (4) Developing parametric model of energy piles with COMSOL Multiphysics, incorporating the dynamic variation of soil thermal conductivity, in turn enabling further thermal-hydro coupling analysis.

Now I am conducting further geothermal research under the supervise of Professor Sadiq Zarrouk.
