I am a PhD candidate in Asian Studies at the University of Auckland. I obtained my Bachelor's and Master's degrees at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. I am currently working on the history of medical exchanges in modern East Asia, particularly the exchange of pharmaceutical knowledge between China, Japan, and the West, with a focus on stimulants🤩.

I am also a licensed Chinese Medicine Practitioner🧑🏻‍⚕️ registered with the regulatory authorities in both China and New Zealand.
